First off the European Union is about having a united Europe that respects every country's territory and every country's contributions both economic and social. Serbia would obviously be the leader of the balkans and a country that almost everyone wants to join Italy has said it so has France and many others. It is the most important country missing and has been for a long time. Kosovo is apart of your country and you have a right to keep it that way. Just like Spain does with Catalonia and Great Britain does with Northern Ireland. This isn't the Europe that was in the 19th century were land was flying around. Europe is stable and every countries sovereignty is respected as Serbia's shoudl be. If Serbia looses Kosovo what are you saying about that stability? Your saying it's gone. So what happens in Chechenya, Basque, Transisdateria, Republika Srpska, and even outside of Europe like Taiiwan. Kosovo's is wrong for so many reasons first and foremost it is historicaly Serbian secondly it is Serbian now and that should be respected third it would open up problems all over the world for nothing.

Oops, one more time a serb orthodox church scandal. One more time the Serb orthodox church is found to have soldiers go into it and get ready to kill innocent civilians. This is what che orthodox church did in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosova and this is proven by the facts where orthodoox priests were blessing serb soldiers before they would go to kill innocent civilians.
I really feel sorry that the serb orthodox church is being involved in these scandals. The NATO military also was forced to attack the serb churches through Kosova because the serb soldiers were hiding weapons in these churches.
I hope that the skeptics in this site see what role does the serb church play.
I have absolutely nothing against the serb church, but this really shows the mission of the serb orthodox church... Not to make people live in peace but to cause destruction. May god have mercy in these priests.

that shouldn´t be necessary, since there are enough NATO-troops to do the job. if they need help, they will call for the serbian army, not for some paramilitary-veterans.

Serbia has the right to be multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-religious within its sovereign territory. It cannot possibly allow one of its ethnic groups a mono-ethnic state on its territory.

You Serbs say that want Kosovo within the Serbian borders, but… would you really comply with that in a democratic way, like happens for example in Canada?
Would you support, for example, a Serbian Parliament with more than 20% of its seat filled by Albanians? Would you support R.T.S. transmitting in Albanian? Would you support eventually an Albanian as Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, or even President?
Or would treat Kosovo as a colony, denying the citizens the right to vote and choose their leaders, their policy, their education, and “inviting” the Albanians of Kosovo to go to Albania using AK-47’s, mass rapes and beatings as has been happening since the Milosevic and Orthodox fanatics came to power in Yugoslavia?

This is desperate measure of people that are fed up with status quo and fear of losing freedom (in Kosovo).This can be very dangerous situation, since there are lot of people in these units that have nothing to lose and they are actually Christian version of Muslim fanatics. This is going to be very dangerous since the type of warfare will not be conventional.A lot is on the stake.
Everyone here is spot on how dare those evil serbs think of defending their homeland? They should just lie down and give up their land. I mean who cares that it has never been apart of Albania or that it has ties with Serbs for about 10 centuries and is the cradle of their culture. Who cares that 90% of those regions and cities in Kosovo have Serbian names. None of that matters to us. All that matters is that we hate Serbs and that everything they do is wrong. If this was 1912 I could understand the fanatisism, but its 21st century and especially after the Balkan wars of 90s it is sad that there are still people out there with that kind of mind frame!
It is outrageous to see that there are still Serbs that support initiatives like this. We are just showing the world how backwards and indoctrinated we are with a Nazi-like ideology, and caught up in a web of a fabricated history and past from folklore, produced by illiterate peasants that we are a divine nation and that we have a divine right to Kosovo. Once again we are on the brink of failing the test to enter into the modern world and integrate into the European family. This is a time when Serbs should wake up and re-examine their identity. I am ashamed to even call myself a Serb at this point with all this madness happening after everything we've done to ex-Yugoslavia.

Do you not know what the West is doing to our country? International law clearly does not apply to us. Kosovo is Serbian, and that is a fact, not Sebian propaganda. I do want to join the EU, but at what cost? We have documents and treaties that claim our control over Kosovo, and that does not matter to the West. They are insulting us by not respecting our internationally recognized borders. I am glad that there still are Serbs that are willing to fight for Kosovo. So Dusan, as a Serb and as a friend, please give me one reason why we should lose Kosovo? You are a very smart person, how are you going to explain to your kids that you supported the West coming in and stealing 15% of your land? And calling those dumb peasant farmers is a disgrace to your heritage. If it were not for the dumb peasant farmers holding on to their land and heritage, then you and me would be Muslim today. Dusan if you even are Serb I would like to answer your questions. First off the European Union is about having a united Europe that respects every country's territory and every country's contributions both economic and social. Serbia would obviously be the leader of the balkans and a country that almost everyone wants to join Italy has said it so has France and many others. It is the most important country missing and has been for a long time. Kosovo is apart of your country and you have a right to keep it that way. Just like Spain does with Catalonia and Great Britain does with Northern Ireland. This isn't the Europe that was in the 19th century were land was flying around. Europe is stable and every countries sovereignty is respected as Serbia's shoudl be. If Serbia looses Kosovo what are you saying about that stability? Your saying it's gone. So what happens in Chechenya, Basque, Transisdateria, Republika Srpska, and even outside of Europe like Taiiwan. Kosovo's is wrong for so many reasons first and foremost it is historicaly Serbian secondly it is Serbian now and that should be respected third it would open up problems all over the world for nothing.
This group can not do nothing more than Arkan, Seselj, kapetan Dragan and many of others tried to do in Kosovo till 1999. This can cause only opposit effects from the 'original' meaning. It is not matter of protection and defence of Kosovars, it is a matter what tools are Serbs choosing to deal with some international issues and affairs.
Seriousely has to be discussed possibility of EU supervising mission in/for Serbia. Serbia is not able to establish new Government for a months and this can be a reason more for EU misiion in/for Serbia.
Good luck Kosovo on your own way... It is not possible to live with paramilitar units around...
