Independent Republic of Kosova...

Go for it, "Two Albanian States and National Unification" by Ali Jakupi in his IMME, 2004 book. On sale in Priština for Ten euro, it has remarkable fabricated conclusions. I prefer to read the words of Poybius, over 2000 years ago. Your people still loot and plunder with no vision of an educated mass, rather an educated few, oppressed by criminal leaders, whom USA and EU countries want nothing to do with, hence trying to realise your dream, so we can run away and explain to Brussels, it’s your problem.

You couldn't be quiet and build to EU Integration, you keep drumming the same beat from the 19th century. I hope Albanians realise this is the fourth time they have tried to gain Independence, always resulting in Autonomy.

Lets see if you can create your American style state in the Balkans, and please have the decency to thank the EU & USA for 100% financial support and tell them you expect more to develop your dream.

As for Ambassador W, he does not represent British people, either in the Balkans or on the Island. He is just an emissary to push a lost Labour Government Foreign Policy in the Balkans.

The saga continues…

If the Scottish National Party wins a majority in the Scottish Parliament Elections on 3rd May, then they will call a referendum on independence from the United Kingdom. The rules of that referendum are already known; they will be as determined by the EU for the Montenegrin referendum. Tony Blair and his government endorsed the EU’s Montenegrin referendum.

The key points of the EU’s referendum rules are as follows:

1. For the vote to be valid, 50% + 1 vote must be cast at the referendum. No problem here, I think.
2. For independence to be won, then 50% + 1 of the votes cast must support independence.
3. Scottish nationals living in other parts of the UK (including England) will not be allowed to vote in the referendum.
4. Scottish nationals living outside the UK will be entitled to vote, if they vote in person in Scotland.

Under these EU referendum rules I believe that Scotland will vote for independence. The only question that remains is whether they will be given the chance. We shall learn this on 3rd May.

Strictly speak Fiona, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are not part of England, but along with England the 4 countries that make up the UK. In the same way that Montenegro was not part of Serbia 1945 onwards.

I doubt Scotland will become independent anytime soon. For it to happen the SNP would have to win a majority or be part of a coalition in the Scottish parliament and then enact a referendum which would be problematic about the threshold rules like Montenegro had.

Sean Connery is just one Scotsman and he doesn't have the final say. I believe he doesn't actually live in Scotland at the moment.

Actually Paddy 1. It sounds nothing like that. and 2.The British do not have the authority to say what Serbia gets to keep. What a rather pompous imperial attitude.Typical for the British

Go carve up your own country, Mr. Ambassador. You have your own problems there, so see them. And by the way, what are you still doing in the Falklands?

pretty irrelevant what this man is saying..since it can be seen on every map of Serbia...

Kosmet is Serbia,...saying that, he would have shown a more intelligent approach to the matter... :)

seems like they will sooner or later have some trouble with the Scottish guys in the north...since Sean Connery is supporting the separatist-movement in Scotland... bingo, Mr.Englishman... maybe you should better take care about your own country...cheers.

RE: British Ambassador

Thank you Mr. Ambassador, are the Falkland Islands still part of the UK? Well, just a reminder, Kosovo is and will remain part of Serbia.

Presevo is a non issue.

That's very nice of the ambassador. May I take this opportunity to say that Kent and Essex are part of England. Sounds like the British are saying to Serbia "here is your compensation for losing Kosovo- you get to keep Presevo et al". That's very generous of them!
