Putin has made the lives for Russians better. Look at there economy, living standard, respect. etc..

All because of strong politicians like Putin, I respect him because he put the interest of Russians FIRST! and then dealt with all other concerns after.

Don't follow the media please it what children are being taught these days in school, all about biased news and rating all that...

and its ALL true. Thank god in the west schools are teaching their children that NOW.

And a matter of fact look at Serbia, The economy is the fastest growing in the region, crack down on corruption is slowly starting, we are even fighting terrorists as seen several days ago.

Of course the west would spin this in a negative. Because if you notice, with the recent death of Boris Yelstin, the western media will make it seem like the Pro-Western politician offered hope, while the ones who turn their back on the Americans and their bullying are regarded as a threat or danger to stability. Once again, going back to Yelstin, I find it interesting that the western media will paint Putin as a bad guy. If you notice in the news they'll say how he has cracked down on freedom and taken the country back a few years. However, the people are living better. Putin has done more for Russia than Yelstin. So with that said, I believe the same applies to Serbia and its politicians. If the nationalists are the best for Serbia, then it doesn't matter who they side with... the west or the east. What matters is if they're the best for Serbia. If Tadic retained power and was the leading political figure, the western media would paint that as a good thing even though he might lose Kosovo and sell out Serbia by choosing the EU over national honor and integrity.

I rather see a Putin-like figure in charge than a sell out who answers to Washington. Serbia has never done the bidding of foreign governments and it shouldn't start now. It should pick the best political party that will do what's best for Serbia, not for the USA or the EU. Unfortunately, Tadic and company think more about themselves than about their country and its honor. Hopefully the radicals and Kostunica put their country first.

Good news, having a Nikolic-Kostunica government is something that will make Serbia stay isolated for another long time. Good luck to poor isolated serbs.
Serbia in one side wants to join NATO and EU, but in the other side plays again that.
Can any serb explain me how can Serbia want to join NATO and EU and in the other way go towards isolation and The East block of Russia which is in fact trying to get towards EU and NATO also.
I wish that Nikolic-Kostunica government is formed as soon as possible.

Blacky,

If Russians live better it is uniquely beacause of the high price of oil.
About a Putin-like figure in Serbia I would say that would be a good thing: that would clarify the front lines, the current commedy - "democratic" Serbia lead by "democratic" leaders like your beloved Kostunica would come to an end. Again this comedy would stop.

The SRS is the largest Serbian political party & I believe best represents the will of the Serbian people, in that they are not backed by US, EU money as are most of the so called democratic parties. To form a government without them was a great folly and not actually possible. The fact that the so called democratic parties tried to form a government in exclusion of the SRS shows you who they really represent.

would be the best solution, but i don´t think that the radicals will be that cheap to have.

on the other side, parliamentary control is a great and first step from their view.

kostunica is a great politician, and his agenda get´s more and more substance ( 1.) economic recovery 2.) destruction of the political left and more important the split up of the notorious serb voters that vote leftish parties and 3.) destruction of the pro-eu-bloc).
