Window dressing, and the whole world knows it. If the Albanians are allowed Independence they'll ethnically cleanse the remaining Serbian population to create an ethnically pure Albanian state. Fortunately for Serbia, this isn't going to happen as the UN won't be recognise Kosovo - thanks to the Russians.

Relying on Russia is hypocrisy in itself since Russia is a known human rights abuser.

Typically, Keku is frantically running around Kosmet trying to pacify the clan chieftans who can see the writing on the wall for their promised independence.

The world will no longer be played "like a stardivarius" by the Albanians.

Amusingly, the Albanians themselves think the west actually cares what they think.

The world knows less than 3000 bodies were found in Kosmet when the Serbian army left. The Albanians keep putting up figures of 10,000 12,000, etc.

The world has seen the pictures of KLA terrorists putting Serbian heads in bags. There are no such images of Serbs committing such barbarity.

The world has seen the burnt monasteries, the shot children.

the world has also seen that there are now more Albanians in kosmet after the "genocide" than there was before.

The world knows and the Albanians know, as can be seen by their ever more frenzied postings here, that independance is not to be in kosmet.

Taras - the world is also aware that a new mass grave with Kosovar Albanian bodies was just found this past week IN SERBIA - which explains why not so many bodies have been found in Kosmet - they were transported into Serbia to hide the shameful truth of what the paramilitaries, Milosevic troops and common criminals did in Kosovo. The testimony of Serb army personnel who witnessed or participated in atrocities is too cruel to describe.

If you were right then how most of the European countires, USA, and other democratic countries around the world support the independence of Kosovo?

How come the European countries and US intervened in 1999 to stop the war against albanians? Even France agreed with the attack.

The only country that suppots Serbia is Russia, whose democratic credentials are like no other (killing of journalists, beating of protesters, lack of free speech, poisioning of political opponetns, hundreds of racists killings a year and constant intimidation of minorities etc etc).
