Riza Halimi,
has very skillfully wrapped his separatist stance in peaceful words about rosy situation in the South. The parliament should ask him to clarify his position and openly renounce any separatism. Yes, there will be a peace in his view, but only if Albanians get what they want.

I am not interested in the article. What is more interesting to me is that his comment and news in general in regards to Kosovo-Metohija is a sort of Rorschach test onto which the readers project their views and interpretations of the worlds events and of politicians secret thoughts.I mean this is far more interesting than the same stale speece of independance! no-independance!.It has gotten to the point that one need only write their first or last name (with respect to Serbs and Albanians) for other readers to know what views the the writer of the comment holds. Are we so predictable.Wow i guess we are lets have some fresh thinking in an environment so thick with smoke.CCCC

You all missed it.

Riza Halimi is saying that Kosova independence is not going to cause separatism in other Albanian-dominated areas in the region.

It is an important veiled support for independence, ahead of the SC visit to the region.

You have to read between the lines, what Mr. halimi i saying is:" As long as Ahtisaris plan is excepted, southern serbia will be saved, but if not than problmes are inevatible".
Princip, I agree with you but what Mr.Halimi is preaching govermant in belgrade will not even consider it. Beleive me I know from past experiance. So, it is just a lot of bla bla bla

Riza Halimi is right. Why would anyone in South Serbia wish to leave a tolerant, multiethnic country with the largest economic growth rate in southern europe to join a morally, politically and economically bankrupt new state a fifth of its size?

"We insist that we jointly work on our problems and issues."

- I compeletly agree and do sincerely hope that the new government reciprocate ssuch brave words with a new found understanding of respect for all citizens of Serbia.
