Bosnian Court convicts Serb for Foča rape

I'm not familiar with this case but the more criminals put behind bars the better.

Another rapist! I understand: over 100 000 women were raped during this war. This is a crime. These guys should not benefit from mitigating circumstances! What mitigating factors can a rapist invoke?

"The court noted Vuković and the woman were in a relationship before the Bosnian ethnic war began in 1992."


It appears they were a couple - boyfriend/girlfriend - lovers - before the war.

I suspect an out of wedlock pregnancy due to the relationship was turned into a claim of rape for propaganda's sake.

If she had been in a relationship with him already before the war - and the court afirms that - it may not have been rape at all.

Plus the Muslims are possessive of the child and won't allow the father to see him - which is more the behavior of custody battles when one parent punishes the other by not letting them see the child.

A true rape baby would more likely be unwanted and no one would care who raised it or saw it - would be simply glad to take it off their hands.

Ida once more who substitutes herself to the judges and comes up to twisted explications to explain the campaign of raped who raged through Bosnia during the war.

You are not helping the cause of the Serbs Ida by being so uncompassionnate!
