Koštunica: Real Kosovo talks yet to begin

Real talks will restart, what a joke. Koshtunica took part in these talks for over year and half and what was that? He is disrespecting his own self, since he was the one that took part in negotiations in Viena(you sebs called Bec, sorry guys no offense). What a cracker.

There were no real negotiations because the Albanian side did not want to negotiate! They have been given a blank check from the West so why negotiate? What's needed is a compromise where both sides give something up. Albanians & Serbs can and have lived together for centuries. They can do it again, but first Albanians have to give up on this unGodly scheme for Serbian land! Do you remember that Albanians fought together with the Serbs on the field of blackbirds against the Turks?

Right now the only thing on the table is what the Albanians want. Now it is time to discuss what Serbia wants and has a right to.

Ahmed. You will be very surprised when talks will start again after summer. Why ? Because all the UNSC memberss will be surprised when they will visit all these Serbian enclaves spread over Kosovo with suffering, poor people that have never done anything wrong. For your information Ahtisaari himself admitted that he never allowed any discussion on any alternatives - it's is in itself an admission that no real talks have ever taken place. This is clear cut how can you deceide on the best solution when you have predetermind the solution and do not even consider the alternatives????

The reality hurts but it is time for real talks if this is to be resolved in a way that is sustainable and peaceful! All the peopels of Serbia deserve peace and hope for the future!

Ahmet Isufi, what exactly are you afraid of with TALKS? If these talks will save lives, then we should embrace them. Its always the ones who refuse to talk that worry me. They seem to do there talking not at the negotiating table, but behind an AK-47.

But firstly, it's spelt "Vienna", not Viena..And the fact that the Serbs, and not the "Sebs" call it "Bec", is the exact same reason the Austrians' old Hungarian partners call it the same name...

What Kostunica was saying is that Ahtisaari was not a genuinely impartial mediator. He was pro-Albanian all along. An impartial mediator will not take sides.

Actually, the real joke here is how the albanians are still deluded enough to imagine that independence is around the corner.

It's now mid-April and you are further away than ever. Empty western promises don't pay the rent and they don't provide employment for you, do they?

Here is what is going to happen.

There will be no UNSC resolution. Which means that it defaults back to UN Resolution 1244.

Albanians will declare independence unilaterally and no-one will care.

UNMIK will leave and when you start killing Serbs and burning churches the Serbian army will march back in with NATOs partnership for peace blessing and thing will get better.

It is over. The delusion you and your fellow immigrants have been labouring under for the last few years is at an end.

If i remeber correctly the last time Kai Eide was tasked to do a report on Kosova, the said report was not favorble for serb. Now some officials are hopping that KAI will lead o restart new negotiations, WOW, this is the craziest thing I have ever heard.

Serbs are so proud of themselves and feel that are special people but I cant believe they have as primeminister someone who still daydreams and is getting ready to get one more term as primeminister.
Give up serbs, Kosova is gone, its independent, its not yours anymore, you cant do whatever you want in it anymore, its a free place after all.
We the albanians do not want to get stuck with people of myths, so therefore we will be independent. We do not want to be a part of an arrogant country like Serbia who thinks that everyone else has to follow international laws except Serbia itself.

Scandinavian- You are wrong body, because Fact finding delgation will come to Kosova and have a chat with PISG and UNMIK officials inluding serb politicians, and that is all. They have no need to go on the field because they have first hand information on that from UNMIK officials.
John- There is nothing left to talk about. Albanians have tried to talk for centuries to no avail. Remeber Ibrahim Rugova in 1980 talked to Milosheviq but that talk did not get things better for us but instead more opression and killing. We are done talking.
