More than 70% of the Srebrenica population was Muslim. The remaining habitants were Serbs, Croats and others. Actually, 150 Mulsims have returned to Srebrenica, and no Croats. And you call this a multiethnic city!

Sreb was not a muslim city it was a multiethnic city, then for a short period a Bosniak city, then again for a short period a Bosnian Serb city. Now it is a multi-ethnic city again and only a facist would want it to be monoethnic again

Living with people responsible of the death of 8000 people is called a drama by a few Serbs not living in RS. This is a shame. Srebrenica was a Muslim city, and should remain a Muslim City. It is the Serbs who should be moving out of the city. And I agree with Canadian that RS should be abolished and returned to the Bosnian authority.

I do not understand how come the UN don't settle this once and for all... with the help of NATO if necessary.

Of course they didn't leave. They were expecting to create some big hoohah in the media about bosniaks being driven out of Sreb again. When this didn't happen they realised nobody in the world gives a S##t, so they stayed at home.

Maybe they will start to realise that the best future is through reconciliation not ultimatums and segregation.

Maybe the entity concept in Bosnia should be abolished and a new system of autonomous ethic areas of could be implemented. A new united police force could implement this (perhaps with local enthic commanders) and areas of Bosnia could be swapped between the groups into new autonomous regions, ie. Srebrenica for the Bosniaks and Drvar & Glamoc for the Serbs. That way territorial continuity within territories wouldn't be as important as it it now. This could be a win-win!
