There is a reason why Serbs refer to Russia as "mother Russia". They must support us, it is in their best interest to do so! Kosovo is Serbian "Holy Land" just like Israel is to Chritians, Jews. To lose it would be an open wound to Serbs, Russians, Bulgars, Greeks & Romanians! Does the West have any clue as to what they are trying to do? is money & oil more important then justice?

It is interesting how the number of Albanians is progressing very fast. In 1999 we were talking about 1,5 million Albanians, in 2006 it was near 2 million and in 2007 it is 2,5 million!! Give me a break and get the right number which is around 1,6 million not more.

Keep to the truth! Approx 3 000 albanians and 3 000 serbs died during the NATO bombing campaign against Serbia. The Russians are spelling out that the resolution offered in the form of Ahtisaar's plan is not acceptable - the Chinese have suggested that they will vote in exactly the same way as Russia.

Ahtisaari himself is frantic and running around to Ghana and Congo to try to force support but is failing - which other UN member state is willing to vote for the dismemberment of a fellow UN recognised state - more over recognised as such in a UN resolution (1244) - after the event that pro-independence supporters such as the "mediator" [sic] Ahtisaari suggest as reason for Serbia losing it's integrity now!!

Desperation is the word that I would use to describe the pro-Albanian camp - they realise now the meaning of the words "futile & counterproductive".

Out of the 15 SC members, only 4 accepted the plan presented a few days ago.

The majority of the Worlds population is against you. Even some countries that approved stated they only did so to "look united".

Kosovo's independence rests on VERY thing ice. All it takes is one small crack to break it.

Russia doesn't really care about you guys. Don't you really understand this? They will just try to trade Kosova's case with the West for their backyard problems. Just wait and see. Kosova's independence is a finished business. EU has already allocated funds for the future state of Kosova. Have some patience and wait 2-3 more months. You have to live with the reality and concentrate in Serbia's other problems such as finding war criminals. All the best to Albanians and congratulations for their new independent state.

If that is the truth, how is possible that Serbia is still most ethnically mixed of all ex YU republics, and have proportionally highest percentage of refuges in whole of Europe. (Close to million Serbs are ethnically cleansed from Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo). Minorities numbers stayed more or less constant in Serbia, (including very sizable number of Albanians in the Serbia proper), during the war and afterwards. The other new states, (on the territory of ex YU), are almost completely mono ethnic. How come? Facts getting in the way of the good (propaganda) story?
