Goran,

What a mascarade! I watched this presentation for 10 m., and stopped because I felt sick, listening to this serbian rhetoric recalling their own sufferings and keeping silence on the sufferings of the Croats and the Muslims who were slaugthered by the 1000s! Face the TRUTH, and on't let yourself carried away by your nationalism.

I am absolutely sick of this. It is only the serbs who killed people right? During the war 17,000 serbian civilians died. Why is it when serbia can arrest those who killed 1.6 million serbs during world wars, these people were killed by bosnians and croats.

Here is a little educational video, may be some of you western ignorants may find it intreguing.

Why is Serbia still being pressed for Karadzic? he is a Montenegrin and is probably either hiding there or in the Serbian entity of Bosnia.

My beef is more with The Hague court, than wit Kandic. She can express her thoughts, take them or leave them. But it's the one-sided Hague is the real problem. Muslim Bosniak and Croat military commanders committed atrocities also, but were either slapped on the wrist (Oric) or given immunity from prosecution (Ceku). And has anyone been following the Haradinaj case, with the witnesses threatened or killed? There is no REAL justice, it's mostly been a political act. As always.

N.Kandic wheeled mothers who lost sons in Srebrenica from their lives in Bosnia to show them a film in Belgade of their loved ones being led away to die. In some cases the mothers saw them and other relatives and friends being shot.
She didn't explain that this was what they were going to see, or that they would then be at the centre of a media circus as journalists were invited to watch their reactions.
This episode killed any respect I may otherwise have had for Kandic (well, that and her role at The Hague).
I am not Serbian, but I have followed these things closely and I consider Kandic to be a self-seeking publicist. What she did to those poor women was terrible.

Miro, for years Serbia is hiding Mladic, and its duty is to put him under arrest for the crimes committed in the name of Serbia. All Serbian war criminals should be sent to The Hague, face justice and be sentenced for what they have ordered and what they have done. Is this too complicated to understand for a Serb?

Well done Natasja. More fact free assertions from Serbias greatest investigator.

I'll tell you what, if you send me proof I will buy you a camera with a big telephoto lens and then you can hide out on a nearby hillside and get pictures of the whole gang of them to send to Carla.

On the contrary Victor it was the Croats who perpetrated genocide against their Serb population. I should know my entire friends and family from Krajina suffered.

N. Kandic and other human rights defenders and civil society NGOS are the conscience of Serbia - with all the posturing and self-serving politicians these people are working for what is truly in the interests of the people of serbia -to be a stable and prosperous democracy based on teh rule of law and human rights - instead of being targeted and harrassed they should be the pride of Serbia!

I wouldn't expect any kind of handover in the near future of either two due to Kosovo's iminent independence.

The West likely will not apply too much pressure because it wants a democratic government in power.

The West badly wants to integrate Serbia fully into EU/NATO structures and keep it away from Russia. This is a geopolitical reality as it needs to control Serbia to control the Balkan region.

In the end, they might forget about ever pursuing each of these men- although basically everyone considers arresting Karadzic a lost cause.(The new Richard Gere movie: Spring Break in Bosnia might change that though)

If they're so sure. Why don't they show evidence or send a group of vigilantes to where the two are and capture them. Oh yeah, what she's saying is total nonsense.

We all know this. Serbia has been protecting its war criminals for 10 years now. I really don't understand why the community of nations is still losing time with such a nation which perpetrated a genocide against civilians in Bosnia and Croatia.
