Go to kosovo.net and you will find the photos of the RPG attack on Visoki Decani.

Real propaganda is when ethnic - albanians write off attacks on civillians, Churches, or others as , ' reasonable retaliation or spontaneous explosions of passion and terror.'

There is a systematic and planned offensive by the shadows of that community to remove everything deemed 'slavic' from the lands of Kosovo.

Learn to behave. If Kosovans ever get the living standards of South Africa, Ghana or Madagascar you can start to offload your arrogant mouth.

Here in Europe, the term Kosovan doesn't quite have the nice asscoiations of Ghana or any other region on this planet. Not even Albania

Ladies and gentleman, yesterday morning at about 0110 hours a mortar round dropped into the Viskoi Decani compound. Blessed be God that there was no damage or loss of life.

I guess we'll just chock this up to the '8 standards', tolerance, and rule of law.

Ratko writes, “Had we been properly armed militarily to resist the US, we wouldn't have all these problems with the US and albanians.” I find this scary, not just inaccurate. Doesnt anyone remember what happened in 1999? After trying to get Milosevic to stop terrorizing Kosovo’s Albanians, NATO (I repeat NATO – which then included EIGHTEEN countries other than the U.S.) intervened. Serbia started it, now the international community is ending it. Eight years too late – if NATO had just made Kosovo independent in 1999, none of us would be even talking about this any longer. Serbia and Kosovo would be on their way to the EU and we would be too busy in our well-paying jobs to spend time blogging on B92.

The Trepca mines is the only reason why Serbia doesn't want to loose Kosovo. Add to the fact that it's 15% of their COUNTRY that the West wants to redraw. Russia was asked to step in before Serbia withdrew. Making sure that 1244 was being implemented. It is obvious that the West had no intention of honoring the UN resolution. It is even more obvious that the breakup of Yugo was an economic war that favors the West. How can Kosovo possibly support themselves... with what industry?
Why laugh at the other UN countries??? Their voices should be heard as well on the subject. FOr this judgement, should it pass in the favor of the KLA will have global consequences. If it passes , every ethnic group that has even more of a claim for independence will have my support. Tacit or outright.

You're probably right in saying that Serbia only cares about places like Trepca. But then again, so does America. You can't honestly believe that they care about you're welfare, they're only there for the money.

I can't believe some of you still see Russia as a world power. A world power is a country, that has the military and economical means to act and react without damaging its eternal economical and military capability. Presently, US is the largest global force with $13 trillion economy. EU $ 16 trillion and with a future military potential. China and India are very close to these 2.

The rest of the world and especially Russia with an economy of 2 trillion or should I say a lot smaller than the Mexican Economy, will have no choice but to follow the big guys. If not even what they have achieved in the last 10 years, will shrink to nothing.

Saddly enough, Serbs are betting on the wrong horse!

Why commenting this!!! Just read the answers given to news papaer "Blic" by US & UK ambasadors:

Blic - "Will there be a resolution if Russia is opposed?

Wordsworth: "There is also a possibility for some of the permanent SC member-states to be sustained, which enables for the resolution to be adopted. The term Russia is using is that they cannot support a solution that is not accepted by both sides. This leaves the possibility that they will be sustained, which opens the road for a new resolution to be adopted.”

Polt: "We believe that it is absolutely not in Serbia’s interest for a resolution not to be passed as the non-existence of a resolution means only further problems, additional conflict and chaos. I repeat, we want the Kosovo problem to be resolved in the UN even though it is not the only way to resolve the problem, but, we hope such a solution and that is why we are cooperating with partners, including Russia.”

The only comment I can add is:
Thank you US, thank you UK, thank you EU.

Now you might be going somewhere... This is the only reason why Serbia doesn't want to let go of Kosova. They don't really care about the churches. The churches have been there for the last few hundred years and they will still be there. What Serbia really cares about is places like Trepca. Serbia (i.e. politicians/government) uses religious propaganda as a cover up for their true mission. I bet some of the people who write here and claim that they are the protectors of Christianity, etc. they have never been to Kosova, you haven't seen how it's probably one of the most secular places in the Balkans. To claim that it is run by fundamentalists is NONSENSE. Go there and spend a few days and learn for yourself.

UNSC can only pass a resolution if there is no veto and at least 9 of the 15 members support the resoluton. If you add these 5 countries to the expected no votes by Russia, China, and possibly Slovakia and Indonesia, Kosovo's resolution will fail totally even if there is no veto rule! I can't stop laughing... this clearly shows how desperate Serbia is.

Frankly, Ahtisaari is main player here, he was elected by main bodies to work out the Kosovo status and he clearly decided for independence in favour of Kosova.

As it concerns Russia, no problem, US will give them a chocolate and they'll be fine, they don’t want to starve because of Serbia, as well they don’t have any interest in this poor country.

EU will fully support KS status, France has already declared that, meanwhile I wish good luck to Serbia and its African friends.

kosovo is very rich in various recourses, even for serbian or westserbian/former bosnian relation (a lot of them nr. 1 or nr. 2 in the world or at least in europe incl.russia).

it´s not just about soros wish for trepca!

don´t buy western bandits farytales of humanitarian intervention!"

Russia might be strong, but not strong enough to go against the west.

Napolean and Adolf Hitler might have a different opinion.

Kujtim,

You're probably right in saying that Serbia only cares about places like Trepca. But then again, so does America. You can't honestly believe that they care about you're welfare, they're only there for the money.

Ladies and gentleman, yesterday morning at about 0110 hours a mortar round dropped into the Viskoi Decani compound. Blessed be God that there was no damage or loss of life.

I guess we'll just chock this up to the '8 standards', tolerance, and rule of law.

Thanks for your comments. Its
interesting to read such diverse opinions.
To Fred, I have read the history of the Balkans and I am still confused.
But please don't be so naive in thinking that USA every does anything unless it benefits USA directly or indirectly.

Hi Rashit

Learn to behave. If Kosovans ever get the living standards of South Africa, Ghana or Madagascar you can start to offload your arrogant mouth.

Here in Europe, the term Kosovan doesn't quite have the nice asscoiations of Ghana or any other region on this planet. Not even Albania
