I do not beleive that there is a stalemate as the title of the article says, because a stalemate means that no progress can be made in the negotiations for a new Government, and how would a journalist know this. I think that media could be trying to steer to a fresh election. It appears that the Parties are exploring the different Coalition arrangements possibly because the sixth principle has not been resolved as yet.

If there was a stalemate, then there would need to be a fresh election. It is better to use as much time as the Constituion allows to continue with the talks rather than going to a fresh election.

It could be good if all the Parliamentarians except for the Caretaker Cabinet went on a holiday for a week to reflect quietly on the state of the negotiations. After the hoilday, they would be refreshed and they could give new vigor to the negotiations. The alternative is to go to a fresh election which would be costly and time consuming, and which is not necessary yet, and besides a fresh election may yield a similar election result. If there is a fresh election, because of the sixth principle, then it should become an election issue which could help resolve the matter.

It is important to know that all the Political Parties of Serbia are of the DEMOCRACTIC BLOC. This is because there was a free and fair election, and people voted for the Party that they wanted.

The EU considers the SRS to be least useful in promoting the EU's whims, but despite this they are just as democractic as any other Party in Serbia. In a democracy, people do not have to like a decision that has been passed by a majority in Parliament. There is no country that can get 100% of the voters of their country to agree on any issue.

There are many different possible Coalitions or even Minority Governments for the Parliamentarians to consider, and these will be the subject of continued negotiations. Any Minority Government will have to be the subject of lengthy negotiations, because these can prove to be less stable than majority Coalitions because each Party has Ministries in a majority Coalition. The Parties should use all the time that is necessary to negotiate a firm consensus, because this will be needed for good economic management.
