Lucky Kosovars who doesn't have in their surrounding such people any more and Romanian police will respond for their acts, unproportional force and forbidden munition used during the protests. One argument more for fully independence: If police and army from proserbian countries are able to misuse certain moment against K-Albanians, what would be able to do Serbian police and army if they would have such opportunity?!?!?!

Good luck Kosova on your own way...

I am very suprised at b92 how is treating K-Albanians in this site. I was sitting with Mr. Isufi when he wrote a comment about March 10 Riots and where not posted , yet comments comming from Jovan and other pro-serbs are being posted without any delay. Please post this glab on your site to show to everybody that I would like to see coments posted from my colleague(police officer Isufi)to be posted just like any other reader of b92.

Milosevic is far from my hero. My heros are Ronald Reagan and Gen. Patton.

While we are discussing Milosevic one can make the case that his own people, Serbs, suffered just as much. Talk to any student protester or resistance member from the 90's.

As an American I support the right to protest and free speech. I dont agree with the anti-war protesters but they have the right to march through the National Mall in D.C.

What you can no come to grips with are that these people were violent, aggressive, and breaking the law. Unruly and violent protesters must be put down.

whatever,

your comment lacks the basic content a comment should minimally have.

there is nothing in your comment, except claiming I ( or we, if you mention Anthony also ) are fans of Milosevic.
you can only write such a nonsense? do you really mean, by just mentioning the name Milosevic, to discredit us?
you must be eiter very young, or very naive.

I think the main problem are the masses of young, and mostly misguided Albanians who still dream of being someone, by believing this talk about the Illyrians and "4000 years albanian history" ...that´s what brought us to the point we are today.
you´re only not daring to admit it.

Ideas like of your own has brought down Yugoslavia! Milosevic (your hero) ordered to shoot at protesters! when he got bored with it he then ordered to shoot civilians like in Serbrenica! i dont necesseraly agree with the protesters of VETEVENDOSJE however they have a right to do so... two protesters werent shot by Germans, British, French, Italian, Spanish, Austrian, American etc. but by Romanians, because they think the same as Milosevic did....
cheers
peace out

Yes the police left they were not asked to leave either. If the protester would have respected the request of the Police no one would have been shot, injured or killed. This is what happens when you decide to take matters into your own hands. Those who organized this protest should be charge with accessory to murder. They incited the protest and they are off scott free or sitting in jail for 30 days. The police acted with acceptable force. The people should understand that the police are not going to run like before. Last protest did they have any big problem destruction of property no they did not. Because they knew what would be the end result. So for those commenters saying the police over reacted well blame it on the protester if they had acted in accordance with the police directions no one would be injured or dead. Think about that. That is not being biased that it respecting the rule of law. News Flash once the EU take over prepare to respect the rule and not doing as you please.

Kujtim,

You mean to tell me there is no difference in your eyes between firing 'non lethal' plastic munitions into a crowd of violent protesters to disperse them and premeditated rape and murder?

Fellow Soldiers or Marines who rape and murder have been put on trial and have been punished, that is proper judicial practice.

It is funny though how you can connect policemen dispersing crowds or civilians accidentally being caught in the crossfire of American Soldiers and terrorists with Milosevic. He is the source and summit for you...

right so, Anthony.

if somebody chooses not to obey the authorities, there is only one thing I say: hit them hard.

they will have to learn the rule of law, the sooner the better.

Anthony,
Just because you are a soldier, or whatever you are, and you have the gun and therefore the power to do anything, you think you should not answer for your actions? Honestly, you are telling us that you should be able to kill whoever does not listen to you and get away with it? Thanks god that others don't think like you, otherwise the whole United States and the rest of the world would be run in a police state just like Kosovo was run during the Milosevic times. Dude, wake up, you cannot kill someone just because they are throwing eggs and stones at you. What are you? Go talk to your 'fellow' soldiers that raped and tortured Iraqi civilians and see what they say. Oh, hold on, maybe the 14 or so year old girl in her home in Iraq was a threat to your fellows... I hope that what you say is not what you do.

Anthony

You mean to tell me those police men who respond with reasonable force to protect themselves against violent protesters, who break the law, have been run out of town?

Its all bureaucrats that do the arm chair investigations. It is the same thing that happens to my fellow Soldiers for making in combat decisions in Iraq, and for police on the beat in the streets of America.

It really is a pity that the UN is going to 'wring its hands' and apologize to unlawful violent protesters who were threatening law enforcement officials.

What Standards Kosovo should comply with. EU standards????
I think Romania is in EU, do they apply EU standards??
