Daniel,

wake up....Croatia has such a long way to go before it has a true and fair judicial system. True, Serbia is not much better, but please dont make out that your country is setting the standard.

I visit Croatia for my summer hols and us normal Serbian people still get abused while we are helping the tourist economy.

Croatians being tried for a few dead serbs is a farce as we are all aware of crimes committed by Croatians.

Unlike Germany, You will never live down your fascist past.

so serbia is clinging onto Croatia making headlines about several people being killed whilst ignoring headlines about serbia killing 100's and 1000's of people killed. you can hardly compare the two really, however all murders are non-excusable, however croatia will only answer to serbia when serbia grows up. Many from krajina wont return with their families because they know they have blood on their hands and serbia wont prosecute them while croatia will. the ones that have come back have nothing to hide and with time, wounds will heal. but in serbia, there is no such will. historically it has always been like that.

they are found guilty of war crimes and sentenced to 3, and 14 years in prison? People have gotten longer sentences for assault and burglary. This is ridiculous

Yeah Victor, here are some of your previous statements on the issue;

“If the Serbs were afraid to live under Croat and Bosnian rules, they only had to live the country.”

“As for Operation Oluja, I think that Croatia had the rigt to fight by all means the Serb rebels who had divided their country. Too bad that Milosevic did not evacuate his citizens before the arrival of the Croat Army. He is responsible for the death of the civilians who were killed.”

“I say only that the Serbs cannot accused the Croats for what happened in the Krajina…”

“What did the Serbs expect? When the Croats finally manage to organize themselves with the aid of the American, they applied the same medicine… You cannot make an omelet without breaking the eggs.”

Ida,

Many times, I have pointed out that all those responsible of crimes should be put under arrest, jusdged and sentenced, no matter their nationality.

What I find dispictable is that 1000s of serbs are living among their victims and the Serb Gov. isn t doing anything.

I bet Victor is going to ignore this report on kidnapping, torturing and murdering Serb civilians, including women in Croatia in 1991.
