Visa relaxations by end of 2007

The European Commission and a Serbian delegation agreed on visa relaxations for certain categories of Serbian citizens.

A careful cost/benefit analysis must be done before instituting such an agreement.It may be more beneficial at this point in time to have 1 million unemployed Serbs working in the EU illegally and remit billions of euros back home than making travel easier for a few people who are not really going to the EU to EARN hard needed currency.

This is just a lie. Even after this relaxation occurs it will proably still be easier for anyone from any other country, except may be North Kore and Iran, to travel to Western Europe then it will be for the average Serb (it will probably ap[ply to a select few groups -- members of western funded ngo's, some students and artists) and not for the average person.

I hope not, that would mean that the lowest of the low would have preference! We don't need any more bad publicity that we are primitive. I hope that average hard working people will get a chance now to leave Serbia.
