There is the 'carrot and stick' approach, and Serbia has seen largely nothing but the 'stick' for years and years, so an alleged 1.5 billion that is 'lost' is nothing. What you never had, you don't miss. What difference does more 'stick' make?

They want Mladic but they don't want General Clarke on trial?! Clarke was associating with drug-trafficking and Bin Laden-funded KLA terrorists and killed civilians in 1999 (Serbs=cheap blood/lives to some people, I know, but still civilians). I would ask America to forget what passport he has and to put Clarke on trial in the Hague and then I will start to believe that it is even handed.

Mladic has not cost Serbia even one Euro. It is the outrageous behaviour of the IC which has damaged the economy of Serbia.

Unjust sanctions, 78 days of illegal bombing of infrastucture and industry and then years of holding an economic gun to the heads of an entire nation because one foreign national(Mladic) might be hiding in Serbia.

The actions of the IC have been a disgrace for years and it is time to stop. I notice that Montenegro signed the SAA last week inspite of the fact Karadic might be hiding in Montenegro.

2 questions: what´s that in real money AND isn´t it one of those stories from the ngo-corner???

Serbia has lost nothing. Indeed ordinary Serbs are undoubtedly better off with General Mladic at large.

This 1.5 billion euros would only be handed over as a loan which would be a burden to ordinary Serbians for generations to come.

Serbia needs to pay off Tito's debts and make their way in the world through hard work and enterprise.

The EU offers only false promises.

Money is nothing! What I find most regrettable is the lost of life of young soldier who allegedly saw him in military barracks!

I see that Serbs measure their lost in money, not in human life!
