I think this says it all with regards to UNMIK - it really is a very starnge concept of privatisation and could only have been thought up by some technocrat with little understanding of property rights - what guarantees do the investors have and hence why assets go for a song - no guarantees beyond a fancy UNMIK stamp that disregards the rightful ownership. Expect so serious legal comebacks and economic uncertainty for many years to come.
