"It's not 11 to 8 it's 800 to 8."
Marko, while I applaud your statements in support of the victims of Serbian aggression, and all Serbs should make similar comments, in reality the ratio is much closer to 10 to 1, not 100 to 1. Which ironically enough is fairly close to the population distribution. All innocent civilian deaths ought to be condemned, AND the crimes of the 1990's should not be used as justification for continued violence. We are after all talking about what happened in 2004, after the end of Serbian domination in Kosovo and at a time when Serbs posed no threat whatsoever to the Kosovar population.
I, by the way, have always condemned Serbian aggression against civilians, so I feel no qualms about condemning Kosovar violence as well.

Kosova should reflect on those days and night that killed eight innocent Serbs.

And Serbia should reflect on the three mass graves found in the suburbs of Belgrade containing 800 bodies of civilians killed in Kosova and transported to Serbia in order to cover the crime.

It's not 11 to 8 it's 800 to 8.

People who have not found the guts to condemn the crimes that were made in their name have no moral rights to ask others for a similar reflection.

Who says something as dumb as 'Belgrade had something to do with this'???

Absolute poppycock!

That 2004 attack by roving mobs of ALBANIANS was ALL an Albanian enterprise. Over 900 peacekeepers were injured BY ALBANIANS on a rampage through Serb and Roma areas.
The 11 Albanians were killed as a result of getting into "it" with the peacekeepers. They took a beating and got 11 of their own killed!!

8 non-Albanians died after being attacked by ALBANIANS.

BELGRADE and nothing to do with it, unless you think ALBANIA ever would listen to them.

as far as I can remember the UN-authorities found out that those boys were told to tell the story of being chased by Serbs with dogs... and afterwards they admitted it to be a simple lie.

that´s how the albanian propaganda works.

afterwards the albanian media was sentenced to spend 100.000 dollars on education of media-personnel, but as it turned out it was only spend 10.000 dollars for that purpose.

finally I wouldn´t call it "clashes" ... I would rather call it albanian violence.

call it like it is, please.

These were no clashes and they were no riots. This was an organized ethnic cleansing by the Albanians which NATO did nothing to stop.

We see how misinformation can cause mass demonstration to break out almost at the same time in Kosovo. March 17, 2004 was a step backwards for Kosovo. Hopefully after cooler heads have prevailed do not revisit history move forward to the future.

It is right 19 Kosovars were killed, but 11 were Albanians and 8 Serbs.

Nothing can justify what happened in March 2004 but I think this was partly organized by Belgrade authorities.

In Serbia during those days many shops and property belonging to Albanian, Goranis and Muslims were demolished while protesters chased "Kill Albanians". (Source: HRW)

I hope Kosovo never, never again experience something like this in the future.
