Its very nice to see people like Sandra Raskovic-Ivic and Kostunica address UN for Serbia's side because they usually express hate against Albanians in their speeches so in this way the people there in UN will see that its impossible to let 2 million albanians be ruled by people like Raskovic or Kostunica.
We the albanians are very happy when these kinds of Serb leaders go in fornt of UN and open their mouth full of hate with their minds way out of reality.

You know Mike, i totally agree..
I'm personally starting to get tired at how this is getting handled by the larger powers, and even MORE surprised that both Serbs and Albanians can't see that they're BOTH being played as puppets..

I mean...If or when independence is declared, do the Albanians think that things have changed?

Does Serbia think that if Kosovo STAYS under her wing, who will pay for the cost of KEEPING Kosovo??

I mean, it's nice to have Russia in Serbia's corner, and it's nice to have Britain in K-Albanians' corner, but realistically...It's Albanians and Serbs that have to live together..

Everybody's so polarized on the status talks, that nobody's looking at the wider picture..All this talk of veto power, Athisaari power, UN power just makes me wonder one thing.....

If only .001% of IC's energy and money was focused on local issues, Kosovo would be a better place to be..

I truly feel sorry for the people who are struggling to make ends meet...
They seem to be doing it at the cost of people in big comfy chairs that don't answer the phones on weekends...

Please copy and paste the enitre link below. It will give you a more acurate picture of the chain of events that got Kosovo into the mess it is today. Thank you Bill and Madeline. Carla should be seeking your presence at the Hauge as much as other war criminals.

To make the K-Serbs feel they are still a part of the Kosovo process, and have a stake in Kosovo's future, these grievances need to be seriously taken and pro-actively resolved. If the international bodies, as well as Pristina, poo-poo these grievances which are seriously taken by the Serbs, there will be little hope for any compromise and cooperation.

Good to see that Serbia will be taking the talks into the UN - making use of it's UN seat and ensuring that everyone is clear on what Ahtisaari would love to impose but has little chance of.

I would also like to see a delegation sent through to all UN SC members especially China who need to clarified on this "futile & counterproductive" facade called negotiated settlement!

The ethnic-Albanians might have spent all of their negotiation skills (and lack anything but proxies in the UN) but the Serbian leadership have much more diplomatic weaponry at the disposal.

Please note that China is on the record saying that it acts in accordance with Russia on this matter and also recall that there was a double veto only recetly by these two ever prominant members of the Global multi-polar hierachy.

- I remain confident that the greater clarity provided just recently will ensure those veto's are not even required as it ensures fewer affirmations.

I also think the Chinese are still not happy that NATO deliberatly bombed their embassy in 99 so might also want a bit of US pay back time!!!

Oh no, again the repetition of scenario (nagging what happened from 1999 - 2007). She will mention every thing even the bad language.
