It's simple, the elite are using the cheap labour as leverage on the middle class.By pushing the middle class into poverty , they cannot be as active in politics when they are trying to feed their family in such a downfall.Easy to see look at history.

There are plenty of workers from Ukraine and Belarus who could fill the gaps in the Polish labor market and even the 7 CEFTA countries with 30 million people can contribute unemployed workers.
