I think a coalition between Kostunica and the Radicals is more sincere and more reasonable.

It may not be the best scenario for Serbia, but the nation voted and these are the numbers.

Put the Radicals and Kostunica in charge; let them screw it up once again for the last time and then make a full turn towards Europe.

As for Kostunica and the Radicals being tough on Kosova, ha, I don't buy it. Milosevic was the one who seemed the toughest and it was him who lost Kosova. I'd rather trust a mild-mannered smooth-talker.

But, then this is Serbia, doomed to make always bad choices.

gentlemen: the PM is determined by choosing someone who can get he support of ALL parties.

djelic cannot get the support of DSS and G17. (let alone the radicals or the socialists). he's too light weight to handle the K matter. choose kostunica and lets get on with it. the last term produced good results (regardless of what the naysayers want to say) and he is the only guy with a strategy for K.

Commenting Princip's comment,

No, it's time to see prime minister from DS. There's absolutely no reason to fix Kostunica in that position, and to do so would only harm Serbian political life. Politicians must – and they will – learn that no post is dedicated to them. Kostunica can as well hold the post of minister of internal affairs, or of law. There's plenty to do there too.
In case Kostunica places stupid demands for his party to join goverment, you can be sure not all of DSS agrees. And then we see the measure of democracy inside of DSS. I think DSS should be more than just Kostunica's party. As DS should more than just Tadic's.
Liberal party should be satisfied with one minister post, and I would suggest they could be in charge of education. That's a tough bite that shows can they also create future or just talk about it.
Altogether, it's now time to show if Serbian political scene has matured at all, or not. After all, I'd love finally to see Serbian statesmen, at least a single one.

If the coalition is to be DS, DSS-NS, G17 then it is likely that such a scenario will be headed by Kostunica as PM. Kostunica will want to ensure his continued message regarding Kosovo & Metohija but the concession he will make will be the speed and direction of EU accession for the PM position. The only other plausible but long shot is SRS + DSS-NS.

Which ever coalition does form there is clearly a great deal of detail to discuss to ensure all parties understand their particular roles and to ensure no re-run.
