zoki lutovac is a daydreamer. if mr. tadic will welcome mr. athisaari, then there won´t be a ds dss coalition and radicals will get into cabinet. mr. tadic must realize that he isn´t pm an hopefully never will be. live with it boris!

J.S. is right all things are possible.

without the DSS there is no grand coalition so the PM position will need to be forfeited by DS if they want to be part of a ruling government.

Alternativly, SRS and DSS-NS forming a government out right is becoming more plausable. I have been reading some commentators regarding name changes and who is to say that there is not a new coalition about to form that could not merge completly to create a new party - NDS Nova Demokratska Srbija - a loss of the radical name, reformist in Serbia's interest not blinded by EU accession - a moderate reformist transition party. Long shot I know, but the process could be good for both - as JS states.
This could leave the DS+G17+Lib to form another party - DL. Such a new alliance will stand for the hard and fast reforms transition. In future elections it would pratically be a 2 party choice - another thing that has been commented upon. What happens we shall see but it would be interesting to see any other comments on such speculation.

People are entitled to change theit minds, and sometimes this even for the better. Just because the Radicals have said that they will only govern alone, who knows if the offer of being in Government even with only minor concessions like "insignificant" Ministries, better pay, and the ability to go to the electorate and say that they have experience in Government can only help increase their vote at the next election.

The President should quite properly offer the party that gain the majority of votes the first opprtunity to form a coalition Government. to do anything else would be for the President to judge those who voted for the Radicals as second class voters and thinkers, and I do not believe this is a proper attitude in a democracy, especially given that the President belongs to a different Political Party. This is the way America and the EU want the Serbian people to think, but we have our own type of democracy.
