Thaci: Content matters in Kosovo status proposal

Has Walker been reading or briefed on the comments coming out of Burns and Montgomery recently? If this is the right direction then I wonder what spin he put on it to Thaci? Walker was good at fabrication before but I hope he can be in Kosovo & Metohija when the "DRAFT" is presented so that he can offer his continued view on good direction to the mob.

i believe both sides should prepare there people before they present the proposal. Because they should understand that neither side will be happy so i would suggest listen everything and not listen to hot heads on both sides.

close to 50 people were massacred at Racak, the entire OSCE mission was present and verified the massacre. There was an old man with his head cut off.

I think this clarifies matters on why I am now always mentioning that the DRAFT will be presented.

Regarding Racak I am finding some intersting results on the net and it seems that there is a strong suspicion that Wlaker was at the least duped into a false report and at worst complicit in lets just say not being completly honest with his findings. Sounds like Kreshnik sk was onto something when he wrongly suggested that I was commenting on Racak. It would seem that this event that was used as a trigger for NATO bombardment had a certain level of deception. Sound familiar to an exageration of the truth to invade Iraq if your ask me!

the Racak "massacre" was indeed a fabrication, there is a film that you can watch on " google video" type in " it started with a lie" a documentary made by the german channel NDR/WDR for the ARD-magazine "Monitor", there a OSCE-observer is explaining that there was no massacre, and that he himself helped carrying the dead albanian corpses to a assembly point where they could be counted and examined etc.
Racak was used as a trigger-event, sad but true.

???? we meet on common ground but i believe the conditions set will be much harder to reach than everyone thinks. 7 years seems like a long time but if there is no reforms and everyone pointing fingers instead of taking action then i don't believe the conditions will be meet.

Artan, if you are bored of the lies then tell your leadership. I found this article in a quick search on the net so please don't assume it is something that the Serb Leadership has put forth. There has even been another comment by Jovan who says that there are even videos to suggest that the reality of Racak is not what was at first portrayed. Le Monde reports recently after the event questioned the story - do your own research! Look to your own leadership & ask what lies have you been told by them to keep the animosity against others for the last 8 years - why as so many commentators here said we rule ourselves since 99 have you not ensured that the minimum standards have been implemented. Look around on the net and be open that the truth is never quite what has been feed to you by your own leadership and those who only believe violence is the way forward. Serbs have been duped as I mentioned in the 90's many knew this and many others have realised that violence is not the way forward. The way forward is through dialogue and the respect of international laws and a principled reasoning. That is why you will need to look at your ethnic-Albanian leadership in Kosovo & Metohija and hope that they can start to appreciate the term negotiation as this will all be starting shortly and will not be over in 2 weeks. Negotiations will neccesarily take time for a true win-win to come through that can see all sides move forward. Compromise takes time and there is much detail that needs to be discussed.

But I was in Kosovo at the time , and belive me there was no cencorship on kosovan TV or papers. We saw the whole massacre scene. So the 90 year old man laying in his garden with his head chopped off by an axe? That was fabrication was it? oooo maybe CIA and Walker put a plastic doll there, and squeezed some ketchup over it?

Like i said before, serbs arguing against independence, I understand. Serbs not apologising for what they did, its wrong and it says something about them, but OK.

Unfortunately Racak was not the only place and there are witnesses still alive to whom you can talk and they’ll tell you the truth. I’m deeply touched when people like you speculate Racak massacre in such a primitive way. At the other hand I’m not surprised why Serbs comments on such cases in this way knowing the fact how all tortures, massacres have been presented to the Serbs by their own media.

FYI the massacre in Obria village, Skenderaj (Srbica) area that happened in 1999 where 17 family members were massacred and among them a mother around 30 years old with her 2 children while breast-feeding her baby. The 3-month-old baby was found alive on her breast full of blood. She died after two weeks. She was massacred with a scythe along with her 4 years old daughter and 6 years old son. I can provide you with the testimony from the source no 1. You must admit what the Serb paramilitary forces did in Kosovo and if you are human you should feel sorry. This was not ‘fabricated’ by Walker.
