it isn´t important in any way, if the us is seeing kosovo as a unique case. imortant is, how the others see it! the faster the us stops telling lies to the albanians, the better for all. i personally don´t think, that it will always work fine like it did when the desission was delayed (at noon mr. wiesner said in pristina, there won´t be delays, on afternoon the us-foreign department said of course there will)!!5 billion people know that the us won´t change kosovo for georgia (the only pipeline surpassing russia), or half azerbaijan, or the post-iraqui states or half of ukraine. only the albanians are still dreaming, and that´s dangerous!

I find it amazing that some people have this lunatic idea that somehow Serbia joining Partnership for Peace means that they have a stronger position on Kosovo. It doesn't even make one bit of sense. It was just a spurr of the moment remark made by the usual suspect: Kostunica

I think Nato is giving Serbia a chance to prove it self. So i think this will be an interesting time period for the balkans. Since the US and NATO will assist Serbia concerning training and cooperation i think the route of violence to try to get independence has taken a back seat. They tried to rock the UN and got tear gas now if there is another try to incite violence it will be crushed. So the best way is for peace negoitioned and not to only think one side. A proverb from long ago "He who looks only through a pipe cannot see who or what is around him therefore he will never know what he has lost".

It's wonderful that Serbia has been invited to join the partnership for peace program. The soon Serbs understand that their Anti-Kosovo Independence option is useless, the faster they may join Nato and EU.
