NATO-Serbia conference begins

If it's true that Serbia lost 4 wars in the past decade as Westerners like to incorrectly point out, apparently Serbia can redeem itself by joining NATO and losing 2 more wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I think the article pertain to the possiblity of working with Serbia in the Partnership for peace program. Not that who lost what wars or that stuff from the past but the future

The US (and hence Nato) is probably planning more military adventures in Iran and N.Korea. There's no need for Serbia to make enemies of all these countries.

Serbia (under Zoran Stankovic) puckering up to NATO after 7 1/2 years of oppression is like an abducted child identifying with its captor. If Serbia wishes to hone its military capability, it should seek training and technology in other quarters. If Europe does not wish to do business, neither does it need to use the Danube.
