I think China won't accept imposed solution either. Because they may lose Taiwan and Tibet in the future if they accept now. I wonder how London will react if Scotland or Wales or Northern Ireland seek independence. I wonder how USA will react if American Indians seek independence.

Can Russian FM exsplain how in the world you can have an outcome acceptable for both sides. There is no way in the world and Russian FM knows that. One side it wants stay married at all costs and the other side is asking for divorce. Mark my words, that divorce will be granted.

Who cares about Russia anymore? I mean Russia reminds me of France during XIII through XIX centuries. They always went in wars agains Engalnd but never succeeded. But they alwways signed treaties. Russia never helped Serbia and this time is the same. I think they want some money from western powers, which they will get eventually.
When it comes the long waited, most wanted, most desired Independence, I personally think there will be no question if it's going to be granted. The question is when? Should Kosovars be understanding AGAIN, and let Tadic win the elections, or should they make them pay for what they did to our culture, language, and most of all what they did to our lives in general? I hope they do the right thing.

Mother Russia, the Protector of the Slavs.... where have i heard that one before. We Serbs should remember that Russia has always huffed and puffed and never lifted a finger, in reality, to help us. We are on our own.

Don't count on Russia, how can you forget the times before NATO bombs started coming down in Serbia. Supposedly russia was telling Milosheviq that there is no need to worry because the US and westeren powers will not even think on bombing serbia, Remeber that one, don't beleive what Russian FM said. They will sayone thing to Serbs but when time comes they will not oppose USA.

I think Serbia is doing the right thing to put Kosovo in the constitution. Im sure Kosovo will belong to Serbia even in the future. How would it look if you take a part of a sovereign country and suddenly make it a new country, even if the majority there "wants" it? No, there are international laws to abide.

Just to let know everyone around here that Kosovo's election has been pospoted due to the final status negotiation process. I can understand the situation that Serbia is currently, if they do not have their elections the whole nation is afraid of radicals coming to power. I ask you now: Why being afraid? radicals in Kosovo have only 2% of the total votes. Just to clarify the term radical on both sides for those who visit the site and have no clue about our radicals. Radicals in Serbia (who make some 40% of total votes) think of great Serbia as the only solution and on the same time fight with the whole world while on the other side Kosovo radicals (who make ONLY 2% of the total votes) think of uniting with Albania, a solution I personally don't agree with! There's a lot to be done in Serbia's society, there shouldn't be that much nationalism, that can only drag you down and backwards. I on the other hand do not see any reason why shouldn't the status get resolved by end of year. In the end, every international statement of high powers say that Kosovo's people will have their conditional independence, having this as a fact, I do not see any reason of status being postponed, it's Serbs who will have to deal with it, deal with their history of wars, deal with new reality acceptance. The Serbian society should be more mature and THINK of who's being elected to rule their country, but this in no way has to do with Kosovo!

Peace is the only way! :)
