All I can say is wow...
Is this really the kind of multi-ethnic society that the international community is trying to perserve?
Is this how the international community intends to promote Serbians to come back?
While Serbs do bear some of the responsibility for the problems in Kosovo and we need to admit when we've made mistakes, its up to the Albanians now to admit their responsibility in the current system and do some of the same soul searching many Serbians have been forced to do in the past decade.

Problems in the Balkans are never a black or white issue, its all shades of gray. I guess this concept is a little too difficult for the Western community who is too used to our Hollywood movies where you have a good guy and a bad guy.

Is this really the kind of future the Serbian people want for themselves? Joining the EU at this point, when it's starting to fall apart, will only result in second class status for the Serbian people in Europe. Outside powers have always had a negative impact on the Serbian people.

Yes, I'm American, and I condemn the crimes done in the name of Serbians (I'm no nationalist), however I've seen a great deal of good in the hearts of the average Serbian person, and this is our greatest strength. The international community has given Serbia a raw deal.

Until the crimes that were committed by all sides are evaluated and given equal time, there can not be true healing in the Balkans.

The good thing is Serbians seem to be coming to grips with some of the evil committed in their name, now if only the international community would put some effort into dealing with the crimes against the Serbian people, then true healing can start. Sweeping those crimes under the rug, only serves to postpone the misunderstanding and hatred on all sides in these terrible conflicts.

Seems like the Kosovo Albanians view any Serb in Kosovo as a "provocation". They have definitely won their right to hate and hate with complete impunity. I think their position asking citizens to do all they can to block the roads and likely attack Serbs is outrageous and should be condemned in the harshest language by the West.
