why are you asking where was kosova in WW II you should be asking a simpler question that where are serbians from, and maybe ask your serbian local why they are so similar to russian orthodox, of course because they never belonged in that region in the first place, as for kosova region just check the Great Illirians and that would explain why albanians have a unique language and are surrounded with Slavs. Well my dear friends its payback time its the decade of the kosovars..

if kosovo belonged to any other country like albania, the issue should not have waited this long. i think it is a part of serbia since centuries ago. this is why serbia doesnt agree with independence. before the ottomans conquered kosovo, the churches already exists. in fact the albanians changed their names but the serbians did not as you can see today.

you know tatiana you may be right. i am also wondering why the chruches are older than the mosques and why kosovo did not become part of albania when they claim that they are brothers in race

you are opposing yourself in the comments you made. First, because you are comparing two things that both countries have in comman the ammount of people that were killed, which is a sad story but is a fact, and can not be compared in numbers, and second that Kosova belongs to Europe and Sudan to Africa, whose continents developments are very different to one another, for the reasons that Europe for many years has ruled Africa and used them, and also because of this you should not agree to let Serbia rule Kosova, for the sake of hiarchy (power to do so and support by other main powers), and use!
I pretty much doubt that a person from Africa would have wanted after such a comparation to let Serbia rule Kosova again! Not because of white and black, or gold and mirror, but because of the truth, reality in history and outcomes!

i really envy the "pampering" the intl community is doing to the balkans and kosovo in particular. much money have been spent. is it because its "europe" as its been said?you could not even compare the deaths kosovo experienced against those in africa due to conflicts famine and aids. its a drop in the ocean, they say. indeed kosovo is very lucky "baby" of the "west".

To Mr. Zulu Mbeki
Well Sudan is in Afrika, where Kosova is in Europe, and has a EU Perspective, as all are saying. Kosova's geografical position make it a factor in the region of the Balkans Peninsula. If Kosova as a land was not interesting to other countries and powers such as Serbia, US or EU, Kosova would have been given the independence and even would be together with Albania. For "some reasons", Kosova is here where it is not. Geographically it has not moved! and the people of Kosova are the same people as there have been from the foundations of mankind. Anyway, it is good for all the countries to put theirselves in the place where people of Kosova are now, analyze their historical and economical issues, and ask themselves if Kosova really deserves independence!

Rada Trajkovic's coments are not fair; ' Pushing dirt under the carpet", Time has come for justice to prevail for Kosovars. They have suffered enough for decades.
