I want to say sorry to the people this effected. Including my family of who many gave thier lives fighting in WW2. The Prime Minister and the speaker are well aware of who this man was. The deputy Prime Minister of Canada father owned the Ukranian Nazi Press under Bandera in Ukraine during WW2 . That should tell you all you need to know .

One on hand, it's truly mind-boggling that there were some Ukrainians that sided with the Germans, who killed anywhere between 5-7 millions of Ukrainians, destroyed 700 cities and towns, around 30K villages, leaving around 10 million homeless, looted or destroyed 80%+ of Ukrainians industrial and agricultural infrastructure, not to mention used millions of Ukrainians as slave labour.

On the other hand, given that Moscow has starved 7-10 million Ukrainians to death in the Holodomor a few years earlier, I suppose it's understandable why someone like this person would choose to fight alongside the Germans against the Soviets.

There is good reason Israel has not been overly zealous in supporting Ukraine. For one thing, so many Jews that emigrated to Israel from the former Soviet Union, and still have some feeling for the country they came from. Therfore Israel, while balancing all this, will ultimately act in its own interests, as all nations must.

Do you honestly believe this is not a provocation? Perhaps there was some influence by a third party? #1: Holodomor was not directed at Ukrainians per se. It was directed at all independent villagers. Ukraine had most of them. Other areas in Russia, Belarus suffered similar way. But Ukraine had most of villagers who were not from an ex-serfs family.
