One step at a time, he is hitting Crimea don't worry! Ukraine can not win this war without the West suport, no doubt about it. Ukraine is not a small country, hope you know that and does have the man power. It needs advanced weapons hence the West is helping.
Why the West is helping Ukraine? Because knowing Russia, if it is allowed to win, it will not stop in Ukraine. Next will be Moldova....

Obviously this is an exaggeration and probably not true, but what is not exaggerated is that the Russian army hasn't been able to properly train and equip such a huge amount of conscripts that have been called up in the past year, let alone manage to coordinate their ground forces effectively with other branches of their army, which is why they have achieved very little in this war and are a long way from winning it.
