I don't understand this Russian tradition of keeping generals so close to the front lines. With today's technology, generals can avoid the risk of being killed in battle, unlike during WW2.
If the Russians end up losing chunks of their officer corps, then it makes no difference how many superdupersonic missiles and drones you may have, you cannot win a war if your army lacks experienced commanders.
Russia truly has underestimated Ukraine and that is their biggest mistake in this war.

Ask Zelensky that has had 100,000 soldiers killed in November 2022 stated by Ursula Von Der Leyan)) today would be over 200,000 Ukrainians died and 800,000 permanently injured)) How many generals have they Ukrainians had killed ??
Or how many senior NATO advisers been killed ??
I can guarantee you over 500% more then Russians.
