Bakhmut has proven to be a total waste of equipment and manpower over a symbolic battle rather than one of strategic importance. Ukraine has spent so much of their ammunition in this Ukrainian Stalingrad that it will probably have negative consequences in the long run.
Zelensky should have listened to American advisors and ordered his forces back to strengthen positions around Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.
Ukraine can't afford not to listen to the US.

There is no sane country that does not "spy" on another. It would be suicide.
As for Zelensky, he has more than once "pushed" a bit too far. If not careful, he will make more enemies than friends.
There is no "perfect" country, nor people.
There is only the hope that good people reign over the bad.

The US turns it back on everyone once they are no longer useful. Kissinger said it many times.
