Let me just say this, I'm against war and anything that destroys lives. With this said, the influence and interference by the US/West in Ukraine is the primary culprit here. There was an agreement signed that Ukraine would stay neutral and not support NATO expansion; however, the Russians want to prevent this at all costs, and here we are today. I really don't believe Russia is looking to expand Eastward, and they have no logical reason to expand their country - they have 11 time zones for goodness sake. I do feel sorry for the Ukrainian people, and that they have a moron and his cronies running the country with US's influence. Whenever the US is involved, there's chaos, death and destruction to achieve their goals and sphere of influence. I live in the US, and I have to say, I'm glad Russia, China, and other non-European countries around to keep them at bay - well, at least as much as they can, tough to fight against t he almighty dollar after all....

Literally replace Russia with NATO and Ukraine with Serbia and you have 1999. I am just as much against Russia's terror bombing of Ukraine as I was against NATO's terror bombing of Serbia in '99.

Peace talks? How did the Kosovo peace talks turn out? Should Ukraine just sign away their 5 oblasts to Russia in the name of peace? Come on, man. What the West did with Kosovo and what Russia did with the 5 Ukrainian oblasts and in Georgia was wrong! International law exists to protect the sovereignty of sovereign states and these hegemonic powers only follow it when it suits them.

So now tell me: why support Russia not America?

Another idiot from the Baltic peanut gallery, this time Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs. It seems to me they gave up on the idea to blockade Kalinigrad which would be a death sentence. Instead, they continue to manipulate Ukraine to its eventual destruction. I would love to see Russia take out these Baltic countries out. It may happened if Poland is stupid enough to send troops to Western Ukraine of if the blockage of Kalinigrad happens again.

Peter Sudyka.......
How naive you are......
The last time Ukrainians did something stupid, like bomb the Crimea bridge, the Russian forces taught them a bit of a lesson by destroying electricity power stations, gas storage, etc. This is why the Ukrainian public will shiver this winter. Bombing the Crimea bridge was an attempt by Kiev to starve/cut off the civilian population in Crimea. Silly move, and got the fierce Russian reply.
So Peter, if you think its wise for western missiles to hit, eg, Moscow, what do you think would be Russias reply....????
But I guess you dont care much about the people of Ukraine. They would take the brunt of the Russian reaction. You talk like the Washington and nato elite without considering the fate of civilians. Your view is that Ukraine should fight till the last Ukrainian. No thought for the dreadful circumstances ......just keep pouring fuel on to the fire.
Your comment is inhumane and disgusting. Dont you think everyone should be calling for peace talks? I guess you dont, you sad case.

Agreed, if Russia is attacking Ukraine why shouldn't Ukraine carry out attacks on Russian territory. Ukraine has nothing to loose, an eye for an eye....
