The EU, USA, Canada have basically thrown everything they have into Ukraine for the soul purpose of destroying Putin in the hope of installing a pro Western leader like Yeltsin. They need Russia's trillions of dollars resources to pay back the war costs and keep the West economically viable for the next 30 years, particularly America which will sell all resources in USA dollars.
If Russia wins, end of the West power and that includes the IMF, World Bank and the UN
