NATO needs Turkey due to location for Middle East activities and it's army. In NATO, Turkey is the 2nd largest after America. It is a world leader at the moment in drone warfare, surpassing America, Russia and Israel. This was proven in the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia where drones did most of the work and damage.

Erdogan just signed a huge trade deal with Russia also pining the Lira to the Rubel, now before we get the usual BS about the Ruble being rubble even the WSJ and Bloomberg have said the Russian Rubel is the best preforming currency in 2022.
