If you put you application now you might be lucky to join in 2095. But with the current economic crises facing the EU the question is will it be around in 12 months’ time.
Joining Albania? Tirana is unable to sustain it self economically let alone take on Kosovo. Then there is the problem that the UN will not recognise such a union and since Russia and China will veto any such proposal then Albania will turn into a bigger much more economically stagnant Kosovo where nothing happens.

At least he (the President) realises that and everyone realises that even if you are the smartest and working in an environment that nobody likes you, must be horrible. One solution would be to quit the job otherwise you (the President) will end up being insane.
Kosovo has to continue in its journey to EU integration and integration with Albania. and I see that with Vucic's help insisting of not recognising Kosovo independence, it seems that is more acceptable for him for Kosovo to join Albania very likely in his lifetime.

After watching many hours of the President and MPs speak in the Assembly, I came away with a greater respect that it will not be easy but the challenges ahead of us will make us stronger. Živela Srbija!

How much do you want to wager on that one? For Albanian incorporate Kosovo would make Albania an outcast since the UN will not recognise such a union. Even the EU would be hesitant to do so and Tirana would be left on a limb.
