Kinda weird how the death of someone I never met, didn't know, didn't follow, should have made me feel sad. It could be that the excessive coverage now afforded this passing, does affect people. For what it's worth, I that think the idea of kings, queens and monarchs is totally anachronistic, but from what I have now seen on the news, Queen Elizabeth seems to have kept her dignity throughout her reign, which is the best one can hope for. It'll be interesting to see if the new monarch will enjoy the same popularity as the previous one.
