Turkish "amen"

The problem with the west is they are so used to media spin they will turn a fart into an enormous victory. First Sweden and Finland joining is of little consequences to Russia as they have cooperated with NATO since the fall of the Soviet Union. Russia will not allow NATO bases in those countries but they can kiss Stoltenberg's backside as much as they like with no problems.
Secondly, Turkey did not "roll over" as they seem to put it.
This joining NATO still have a long way to go and if Finland and Sweden don't hand over the so-called terrorists then Turkey will veto entry.
Turkey has just issued a letter demanding that certain people be handed over to Ankara and the toing and froing will continue over the 12 months. There is still a very long process and its not over until the fat lady sings.
