The Institute said that the Russians used more artillery shells in 10 to 14 days than the US produces in a year. The Russians have used more cruise missiles in 4 months than the US produces in a year.
Today the US does NOT have the manufacturing capacity that it once had in the 1940s, 1950s, 60s or 70s. It cannot ramp up manufacturing.
