U.S. military ready to intervene?

Let me get this right. If the Solomon Islands allow a Chinese military base then the US will intervene militarily because it has some implications for them and their allies aka more them than allies.
Why can the US intervene militarily in the Solomon Islands but Russia cant in Ukraine? Is the US doing it democratically and that's why they should be allowed to invade a sovereign nation? Talk about hypocrisy on a scale never seen before in history.

What amazes me is the mentality of slave which is so widespread in the West. Nobody questions anything anymore, not even elementary things to be understood. This for example is a blatant case of interference in internal issues of Amjerica. Becuz what the Solomon Islands want to do in their soil is just an issue of the Solomon Islands. And the Solomon Island doesn't need permission from anybody regarding their policies. But still this is elementary decency of knowledge on what it means to be formally an independent country. But how come so many people do not understand just basic logic? Or they understand but life is always easier if one conforms to mainstream.
