On the matter of Croatian GDP, that is derived using a Brussels formula. It’s very complex and there is not enough room to fully explain how it functions.
All I can say is if Croatia is at that GDP level, then why does it have to go cap in hand to Brussels to repair earthquake damaged buildings????
Naturally Vucic is not going to say this openly since it would be discounted by all and sundry.
But its fact. No one has invested in Croatia - NO ONE in the last 30 years or more. Croatia wanted to attract BMW and that was over a decade ago and still nothing.
Nearly 22% of Croatia’s population has migrated, not counting Serbs kicked out, and it’s now down to about 2.8 million and yet they have the same GDP as Serbia. If EU money was removed from the GDP calculation, then Croatia’s GDP would be about 15 to 18 billion.
