I hear that the US will stop Russia using the US$. That will only mean that Russia uses another currency and since it already uses the Euro, the US is cutting its nose to spite its face. The de-dollarisation will then gain speed and it’s all to the loss of the Washington windbags LOL.

I am now waiting to see if the Germans are going to be stupid enough to stop Nord stream 2, which is a German project not Russian. Whoever claims that the EU has alternate supplies is talking utter bullshit. You cannot deliver the volumes of gas required by ship plus the EU does not have the infrastructure to store this gas.

Two things here. Gas reserves in the EU are critically low and if a cold snap occurs blackouts for sure, and the second if NS 2 is cancelled then the de-industrialisation of Germany and France will commence meaning industry going move away from those countries.

But sj Croatia has 390 years of gas reserves in it's Southern Adriatic sea.
It is coming on line and a new LNG terminal in Rijeka also came on line.
