Russia does not have bases in Canada or Mexico, nor will they ever. Your “what if” suppositions are childish. Putting up a smoke screen is a sure sign of making a bogus argument. Ukraine is well armed and will do sufficient damage to Russia, if attacked, and destroy Russia’s already weak economy.
Many of the Balkan countries have also sent aid, including weapons, to the Ukraine.
