The process is anonymous. There is no loophole. Claiming otherwise is a conspiracy theory. Banning him because he is Novak Djokovic and his views on vaccination would be direct discrimination and political interference. It would then be pointless to have rules if they can be ignored to target people we don't like for their views and a further politicization of sport by weak countries.

Novak has done nothing wrong.
1. Novak is not the only player to get a medical exemption. There are a few more players. But Novak is the only one targeted. Unfair.
2. Novak applied and Tennis Australian medics/experts agree to grant the medical exemption. Then the government also approved his request.
3. Being vaccinated does not mean you dont spread the virus. Vaccinated players are just as likely to infect others as unvaccinated players. Fact.
4. Should Novak contract the virus while he is Australia you can bet your life he will not be a burden to the Aussie Health System. He has enough resources to look after himself. Fact.

The problem is that its Novak Djokovic. Had it been Federer asking for a medical exemption there wouldnt be such an outcry. Why? Well...the sun shines out of Rogers a*s........
Go Nole, win the tournament and stick it up their behind.....

I don't think he will feel very welcome in Australia. Most people have gone through a tough 2 years. Aus is a country where people have not been happy with restrictions but have put up with it to help their fellow citizens.
Now the gov has made a loophole for a rich and famous anti-vaxxer.

Perhaps you are not aware there are players who have been allowed into Australia and not vaccinated on medical grounds and they are here right now.
As far as Novak being unwelcome I think you will find that stems from the Australian media more than the public. You see he is from Serbia which is not aligned with the west so they are very much against him.
Its so interesting to watch, before all this Russia business Raf Nadal was not liked by the media, why? I have no idea, but now he is their picture boy.

How did he beat it? Very simple, he applied for a exemption on medical grounds and got it, nothing special.

How can he play when he's sick?
