America is near broke. America has huge problems at home such as unemployment, black lives matter, huge debts, etc.
America did nothing in Venezuela, Syria and Ukraine/Crimea. Thats because Russia got involved.
Has hot Putin said a few times that had he been in power the west would never have attacked Serbia. Today Russia is organised and powerful. So Voula, nato may make threats but will do nothing. Foolish for ROSU forces to antagonize Serbia after what just happened in Afghanistan. The US doesn't care as much about Kosovo or Europe,it is losing influence with Germany, it is losing interest in the middle East, and it is pivoting towards the threat it believes is coming from China. Leave the North alone or it could go very badly

I think the EU and USA don't care about Kosovo, they have bigger issues to worry about than Kosovo.
USA has big debt issue, deeply divided nation, covid issue and mass immigration issue at it's southern border.
EU has solidarity issues, particularly with the former soviet states of eastern Europe when it comes to immigration quotas, lgbt lobby group, culture identity etc.
The only 2 countries that the Kosovo issue will cause problems to is Albania and the so called North Macedonia.
The EU, NATO and USA will be happy if Serbia took Northern Serb majority Kosovo as the albo never honoured any agreements they signed for the past 20 yrs

Twenty years ago, it was a completely different story. Money was thrown around like confetti, but today the EU has had to stop any new memberships because there is no money to meet EU’s financial obligations.
