Finally after 6 years she can see the chaos it caused. As usual, she never had any consultations with other European countries before deciding on open borders. Nearly all of Europe struggled to deal with the mass influx of immigration. The health system, accommodation etc was never equipped to deal with the large numbers to begin with. Once prominent cities and towns turned to ghettos and ordinary citizens everyday lives became a misery.
There is nothing wrong with immigration as long as they are documented and there is work available for them.
I remember before the collapse of the USSR that if you want to go to the west, you must have a skill in need, there is a shortage of labour or you are seeking a education.
Nowadays it seems that anyone can go and live on welfare and govt provided accommodation.
The biggest loosers are the citizens that have to keep working until they drop dead to pay for this.
