Serbs do not want the EU. They’ve survived for centuries against Ottomans, Austria-Hungarians, Germans, Nazis, Ustashe, Muhajadeen and Islamic terrorists of various colors, NATO-neo Nazis, and need not any 3rd Reich descendants commanding them from Berlin or Brussels.
The decaying EU charade is only needed for nincompoop KLA terrorists to dangle in front of them and their idiotic supporters who have no other outlook for the failed criminal enterprise.

For Count: Lets take Switzerland as an example. We know Switzerland is divided in cantons which are based on ethnicity/language criteria. Each canton has executive powers and we all agree Switzerland is a highly developed country. Why not apply that example to Kosovo? Now Im sure Albos will fear that the serb canton will have the support of Belgrade financially and they might prosper while the alb canton will have only the support of Pristina and Tirana, and they will lack behind. Yes, there is a risk this happens but life is all a challenge so we albos finally will have the possibility to prove to ourselves what are we worth. You can answer that better alternative is a unified nation state of an albanian Kosovo with minorities. Ok, but nation states need a unified cultural legacy, and in Kosovo, the major part of this legacy, churches, religious objects, belong to the serbs and they will never give up on those. You would? My point is if the alternative is the division of the territory, why not forming cantons with executive powers?

History has proven Serbia was punished severely each time it held out for more when negotiating over Kosovo. One need only look at what happened when Serbia refused to sign on to Rambouillet Accords!

By that logic, East Kosova, i.e. the Presheva Valley should be returned to Kosova.

Psst your Albos in Preshavo left it years ago and stayed in Germany after the Germans declared that as Yugoslavia no longer existed then Yugoslav documentation was no longer valid and they should throw them away - they did just that; all 200,000. Remember if they don’t live there they can’t be counted as part of Preshavo, just like Albos from Kosovo who have left and the population is more like 900,000 than the 1.8 million

Considering the fact there are more Serbs below the Ibar river than above it, North Mitrovica should not be given special status. Just because the concentration of Serbs is higher by percent is irrelevant. By that logic, East Kosova, i.e. the Presheva Valley should be returned to Kosova.

ZZZZZZ. Is there no end to this BS? To admit anyone into the EU sets a huge financial obligation on Brussels. Let’s be clear, Brussels does not have the financial resources to fulfil its part of the obligations to new EU members. Once the UK left it was over red rover.
To give some idea of how heavy this financial; burden has become, Croatia’s annual budget consists of 60% EU funds – this figure was admitted by the Croats themselves.
Brussels attempted to get Switzerland into its clutches, but the Swiss were too smart and broke off all negotiations and said they were not going to be the milking cow of the EU.
Outcome for Kosovo? status quo.
