I could be wrong but if Switzerland has broken off completely negotiations with the EU after seven years of talks, with one Swiss diplomat stating that "Switzerland is no going to be the EU's cash cow", why on God's earth would Serbia want to join?
The EU needed Switzerland badly to become part of the EU, particularly since Brexit. It has affected the amount money every recipient country in the EU receives from the EU Fund.
