The CEO of Pfyzer was interviewed on German TV and he was asked if he and his family received the vaccine. Can you guess what he said? If not his answer was NO. Great advertisement for his product; even he does not trust its effectiveness LOL.
The Russian version is based on the Ebola vaccine, which the Russians developed but the west fails to mention that every time. Ebola is a version of a pandemic. Pfizer and Moderna are a concoction of chemicals that have never been trialed before.

Sputnik is a "vector", Pfizer is genetic. Good for different age of patients. This is like comparing apples to peaches.
The moment either is available I am going for it, of course after consulting with the doctor I am assigned to. My guess that they will tell me "vector" due my age.

I am not a doctor but after the CEO of Pfyzer said on German TV that he has not taken his company's vaccine, I'd err on the side of caution and avoid it like the plague. They have no idea how long their vaccine lasts. In fact, they have no idea if it will stop being transmitted from person to person.
Fifty years ago the US led the world in many things including medicine, but today its only profit and I do not trust companies that only look at the bottom line.

I trust the science though, but we are (un)lucky of not being among the first in the line to get the vaccine.
Until that, all non-essential activity is postponed.
