How important is the geographical position of Kosovo now that it's independent?
(Concerned Albanian, 6 February 2021 23:01)

Not important at all. It has not geographical importance since there is no need to travel through Kosovo to other parts of Europe.

"Serbia is very important while the rest of the members of the former Yugoslavia are not."

These are the opinions of one news portal, suggesting that "Croatians" are frustrated because of low vaccine availability.

Croatians are not frustrated at all. There is no published survey data to support this assumption. The only survey data available is that most will not take a vaccine. The comment from Obradovic, who said that "the best vaccine is the one we have" is not a great statement to live by.

Serbia happened to approve the Chinese and Russian vaccines. Croatia did not. Not sure if it's a good thing to be taking (and approving) such novel vaccines so soon (unless you are a high risk individual) especially ones manufactured in China.

The vaccines do not prevent infection or transmission.
It reduces symptoms of the virus. Those who are at risk of dying (the very old or the very unhealthy) should take it, but really, nobody else really needs to.

It will be interesting to see what this human testing study yields, when you have hundreds of thousands of healthy people taking several vaccines per year, simply to reduce their symptoms.

Hopefully nothing happens to these young Serbs who are taking Chinese coronavirus vaccines 2-3 times per year, just to avoid symptoms. We'll have to wait and see what happens in a few years from now.

I have been talking about the importance of Serbia and its geographical position in the Balkans for years, and now its finally come to light. Serbia is very important while the rest of the members of the former Yugoslavia are not.
